Long Term Strategies Shouldn’t Cave In to Short Term Panic

Across the country, we’re seeing universities drastically cut international recruitment budgets.

Universities that have been around for hundreds of years are making myopic investment decisions; Decisions based upon a political environment that is up for reelection in 3.5 years.

The industry standard for building a brand in a new foreign market is 3 years.

My thoughts: you want to use this time to grow your brand while the competition is dead in the water.
